Starting a podcast with enthusiasm is easy, but the hard work that comes into editing and post-production can quickly become overwhelming for most content creators. Meet ProNexis, a forward-thinking technology company that helps home service-based businesses by providing lead generation, phone correspondence, and scheduling services. Their mission is to empower business owners to focus on what they do best, rather than being tied up on the phone.
As part of their innovative approach to serving their clients and client acquisition, ProNexis recently embarked on a podcast journey to help them attract new customers and expand their reach.
In this article, we’ll talk about how we, Socialize Video, helped ProNexis drive their podcasts even further.
Digital Presence Evaluation
First things first, as any marketer would start the process, a full checkup of their current assets would be audited. Being a podcast, we wanted to make sure that ProNexis’ podcast setup was visually appealing. We requested ProNexis to take some footage of their podcasting area and here’s why:
We wanted a scope of what needs to be improved by the following factors:
– Video quality
– Background
These two (2) items are necessary for us to make suggestions to improve overall visual quality. This attention to detail would ensure that the end result for ProNexis would be podcast videos that looked professional and visually engaging.
Once the necessary suggestions have been brought up and considered based on the footage provided, we’ll have the client (ProNexis) set up their interview or film their content and then send it to us and we take care of the rest. See how easy we make it for our clients? Once received, we work on our magic.
During the post-production or editing phase, the collaboration still continues as we want to be 100% on-spot with what you want to happen. This leads us to the next step we took for ProNexis.
Key Element Alignment for Your Content
This step was all about enhancing the visuals for ProNexis’ footage. We understand that to really stand out in the sea of podcasts, you have to lure people in with great visuals. So to enhance the viewer experience, we used various techniques for the graphics side of things.
– Custom-made intros: Completely built from scratch and not from a template, this custom-made video intro integrated with a sub-version of the ProNexis logo added a touch of personality and adheres to the current design they already have.
– Brand Design: To better align their assets to ProNexis’ brand and really help push forward the things they’re trying to do. Graphic animations such as proper placement of the ProNexis logo were incorporated into their videos and also recommended color palettes of their brand to be used throughout, in lower thirds, and stock images that focus on construction and engineering plus customer service. All these elements were customized to suit the branding and style, further enhancing the visual appeal.
– Key highlights: One trick we included for their podcasts is also adding different cuts and angles and the popular split-screen style to add visual interest to the videos.
Cleaning up: Double-checking process
Our team takes quality and accuracy seriously, and we understand the importance of delivering videos that meet your branding standards. Our double-checking process involves meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that there are no errors or inconsistencies in the final edited video. We have multiple team members who review the video, checking for spelling and grammar–making sure it is flawless. It’s our commitment to providing top-notch videos that exceed our client’s expectations!
Going above and beyond: Short-form videos
At the end of our whole collaboration process, ProNexis achieved a whole series of episode videos–but we take it up a notch even more! We understand the power of versatility when it comes to podcast videos and video marketing in general.
We created short and engaging clips from longer episodes. These short-form contents can be anything between 15 to 60 seconds of run-time which are perfect for attracting attention on social media platforms. Think of Joe Rogan, a popular podcaster who utilizes video clips to promote his content and leverages this approach to entice viewers to watch full episodes.
Our team helped ProNexis unlock new opportunities to reach a wider audience via captivating important moments from their podcast episodes through these short-form content (while still adhering to the brand). To add, they are also incredibly shareable and formatted per social media platforms giving the exposure the content deserves.
At Socialize, we are constantly striving to improve our efficiency and streamline our processes to make collaboration as effortless as possible for our clients. For those of you that are on a subscription model with us, you’ll notice that our efficiency for creating videos significantly increases with each episode.
In fact, and in this case, we allotted at least 20 hours each for the first 2 videos. This is because the team has to work before the assets are introduced and developed. As the collaboration continues, we refine our processes and get these key details and templates established, thus reducing the time spent on each episode. The time dropped to about 8 hours per episode, and eventually to just 6 hours per episode, allowing us to deliver high-quality videos more quickly and efficiently.
Our dedication to continuous improvement and efficiency means that our clients can expect a seamless and hassle-free collaboration process. We want to make sure that our clients, like ProNexis, can focus on creating great content while leaving video editing and production to us.
Join us at Socialize and experience the ease, versatility, and creative potential of working with us for your video marketing needs. Let us help you make great video content that will captivate your audience and drive your business to success. Bid adieu to the complexities of video editing and let’s work together to bring your vision to life!
