This is an optional thing to consider but in my opinion very valuable. At Socialize Video, when we complete a shoot, our editors go through the entire set of videos and process all usable clips and provide a library to our clients. This is what we call the clip library.<\/p>\n

I would like to fully utilize all the video clips shot during our film shoot, even if unused initially. These clips will be held in my library for potential integration into future marketing videos. Here is what I’m looking for:<\/p>\n
Please go through all the video files and pull out all usable content. Finalize the clips by color correcting and adjusting the speed if ideal. Then export each clip at the highest appropriate resolution (for example 4K source footage should be exported as 4K clips). Name the clips with descriptive, keyword-rich titles so they are easily searchable later. Feel free to organize the finished clips into logical folders by category, subject, location etc.<\/em><\/p>\n My goal is having a neatly organized archive of polished, optimized video assets ready for a non-video editor to easily access and repurpose down the road. This expands our content resources exponentially. Please let me know if you need any clarification or have a better recommendation on streamlining usable clip extraction and delivery.<\/em><\/p>\n Also, as you process these video clips, please pull still images after the color has been corrected as well.<\/em><\/p>\n I tacked this on at the end. Another thing to consider is to pull still images from the footage you shot. Keep in mind 4K resolution is large enough to give a full screen image on the web. It\u2019s not ideal for large prints though. You can tack on to the video editor creating your video clip library to pull still images as well. <\/p>\n Doing both of these can take a sizable amount of time depending on the amount and type of footage. The best time to ask for this is before<\/strong> you start the editing process because they\u2019ll be going through the footage anyway and can start processing the clips as they review. This will add to your overall budget however it makes your filming just that much more valuable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","yoast_head":"\n
