You then reach out to the financial manager and ask that all 16 hours go to your next salary. That then allows you to take 1-2 days off of work and not take a cut in your salary.<\/p>\n<h3>How Do You Earn PTO?<\/h3>\n<p>When you follow our process and perform well, the project manager will provide feedback and you may receive PTO hours. This is not guaranteed, but more likely when you strive to ensure a smooth project and satisfy the client. You will be notified of any awarded hours on the team page.<\/p>\n<h3>How Do You Use PTO?<\/h3>\n<p>Reach out to the financial manager and let them know which pay period you plan to use your PTO. You should receive a confirmation of you using these hours inside your email confirming your salary payment. You do not have to take time off to use PTO.<\/p>\n<h3>How Do I Schedule Time Off?<\/h3>\n<p>Utilize the Schedule app on Podio to mark your unavailability and inform important team members when you schedule your time off, <strong>as well as 3-4 days prior to leaving<\/strong> town. Collaborate with team members to select those who will handle your project while you&#8217;re away. Ensure that key project milestones are accomplished before leaving and create a plan with the team regarding who will be responsible for what tasks during your absence.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s understandable and advisable to disconnect completely during your time off, but if notifications cause you more stress, spending 20-30 minutes daily to review and stay updated could be helpful.
