When customers are seeking professional video help, where do they go? This section shows how we use certain platforms to connect and do business with new customers.

We found success with Upwork during the pandemic and it’s still a great resource for finding people seeking video professional help. There are a couple of key things to keep in mind.

Preparing Your Upwork Account

Potential hires look at your Upwork account and whether you have good reviews or not. I spent some time reducing my rates to help build up reviews and work history to get my account in good standing. We haven’t yet had a company account for Socialize that we’ve used to connect with people but may need to go that direction.

Video Intros

One key that has helped us stand out is sending video introductions. In those videos I would speak about their specific project so they know I made the video for them and then quickly introduce Socialize Video. These need to be 1 to 2 min videos so they’re quick to watch with a call to action to schedule a call.

Here are some examples you can review as well as a training video on how to use Ecamm Live to quickly make the intro videos.
