You are required to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Pay close attention to details that clients and team members may overlook.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Monitor the project&#8217;s progress and steer it in the right direction.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Read between the lines and ask insightful questions to gain clarity.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Communicate each step of the project effectively.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">Create a delightful customer experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Master Communicator<\/h3>\n<p>Think about this scenario: A client who has some experience in video editing wants us to work on a project that would take them approximately 5 hours. Why would they pay us for 7-9 hours of work? The answer lies not just in the fact that they wouldn&#8217;t have to do it themselves, but also because they trust the expertise of professionals to handle their project.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to acknowledge that our team may take longer than a solo video editor would. One of the reasons for this is the project manager&#8217;s involvement in the process. Therefore, if our clients are paying for the extra time, it must be worth their investment. This is where mastering communication skills can make you not just valuable, but invaluable to the project&#8217;s success.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Let&#8217;s briefly cover the primary stages of the management process and in subsequent sections provide detailed tactics and strategies to help you manage projects effectively.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">1. Potential Customer<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">You are not expected to engage in cold calling or introduce potential customers to Socialize Video. However, you may be asked to attend a follow-up meeting if the client expresses interest in our services and wishes to discuss strategy. This is where our scripting session proves to be highly effective. It&#8217;s crucial to demonstrate the value we can provide to the client during this meeting.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">2. Project Kickoff<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Whether it&#8217;s immediately after a scripting session or through an email from a regular client, you will be responsible for initiating the project by ensuring that all necessary resources are available and that a success plan is in place.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">3. Communication Management &amp; Review<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As you progress through a project, there may be a significant amount of communication back and forth. Effective communication skills are crucial at this stage, as they can ensure the project is completed with minimal delays. Additionally, it&#8217;s essential to proactively review the project to identify and address any issues that may arise.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">4. Project Completion<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">While it&#8217;s certainly a time to celebrate (high fives all around), it&#8217;s important to note that our work is not entirely finished.
